We had a spooktacular Hallo-week at Big Lakes! 🎃👻The week at Big Lakes was full of festive fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments!
Monday – Boo! Bingo!
We kicked off the week with a spooktacular Bingo session! The afternoon was filled with laughs, prizes, and plenty of spooky cheer. Everyone had a blast marking their cards and celebrating Hallo-Week together.
Tuesday – Sugar Skull Studio
On Tuesday, we got crafty as we designed sugar skulls using paper plates, markers, gems, feathers, and more! Each creation was unique, showcasing everyone’s artistic talent.
Wednesday – Movie & Mocktails
Wednesday, we gathered for a showing of Coco while sipping on festive Sunrise Mocktails (Sprite + grenadine + orange juice). It was the perfect way to relax and enjoy some cozy Halloween vibes.
Thursday – Monster Munchies
Thursday was extra sweet! With the help of the amazing volunteers from the Sunflower Pilot Club of Manhattan, KS, and the delicious cookies from Eileen’s Cookies MHK, we decorated sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles. A huge thank you to everyone who made this sugary celebration so special!
Friday – Costumes, Capes, and ... Cows?
We herd a rumor had it that cows had taken over Big Lakes! Our week wrapped up with trick-or-treating from room to room. Everyone's costumes looked amazing, making Friday a frightfully fun finale to our Hallo-Week celebrations.
From crafts to costumes, cookies to community, this Halloween week was filled with laughter, creativity, and togetherness. We had a frightfully good time celebrating with friends and are so grateful for all the treats and memories shared!
