Work skills

Work Skills

Maximize and enrich the individual's independent functioning through work-related skills and provide learning opportunities for interaction and participation in the workplace and in coordination with the CISS program, like skills training and structured alternative activities in Life Skills and Day Activities. 

Community integrations and support services

Community Integration& Support Services

Individuals will participate in activity-based programs based on the input provided by program participants and the Client Steering Committee. Activities are made available in-house and in the community. Choices are selected based on weather seasonal norms, community celebrations and events, and affordable or free and accessible locations in the community. 

Life skills training

Life Skills Training

To maximize and enrich the individual's independent functioning through formal training in work and non-work-related skills and to provide opportunities for interaction and participation in the community. Formal classes are held based on areas of identified need by staff and the Client Steering Committee. 

Farm and work development

Farm & Work Development

Provide long-term work instruction and supervision, development training, and support in producing horticultural and other products for assembly, manufacture, and sale. Provide specific skills training and employment opportunities to reinforce good work skills, habits, and attitudes. 

Day activities

Day Activities

To provide alternate non-work or educational activities that develop leisure and recreational skills, community integration and interaction, and sensory and cognitive stimulation in coordination with Employment Services and Life Enrichment. 

Community access and activities

Community Access & Activities

To enhance the personal, social, and community opportunities for individuals who would benefit from assistance accessing services, resources, and leisure in the community or for alternate occasional non-work activities. 

Retirement services

To enhance the personal. social and community opportunities for older individuals who would benefit from assistance in accessing services, resources, leisure and retirement options in the community. 

Life enrichment

Life Enrichment

To maximize and enrich the individual's life experience through individualized, self-affirming daily activities and to provide opportunities for age-appropriate and culturally normative interaction in the community.
